Billy Ray Cyrus, Rascal Flatts, Martina McBride, Brad Paisley and Alison Krauss are among the artists contributing to a 15-track collection that celebrates the Disney Music Group’s connection to Nashville.
Country Sings Disney mostly features songs that originated in soundtracks for such Disney films as The Lion King, Bambi II and The Little Mermaid, bookended by a pair of tracks featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, currently signed to Walt Disney Records. The collection leads with "Ready, Set, Don’t Go," Billy Ray’s duet with daughter Miley Cyrus; and closes with "Real Gone," his version of a song Sheryl Crow introduced in the Cars soundtrack.
