Kenny stands by friend

According to Uncle Kracker’s manager, Kenny Chesney and Kid Rock are standing behind their friend. According to Michigan’s Macomb Daily, Kracker’s hometown newspaper, Michael Shaffer – who is also the rapper/singer’s brother – says Kracker is in high spirits considering everything that has happened. "But personally, he's bummed out that someone seeking their 15 minutes of fame could ruin his reputation as one of the good guys in this business," he said. Kracker – whose real name is Matt Shaffer – is scheduled to appear in a North Carolina courtroom on September 24th to answer to second-degree forcible sex charges.
