Brad Paisley's parents might want to clear a little space in their display cabinet. He could take home as many as four trophies at Sunday's Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas. And if he wins, the awards will go directly to his mom and dad.
"I like winning awards," he told the Copley News Service recently. But "I don't like reminders of the past all that much. Nor do I have time to dust or polish the statuettes, so my parents take care and display most of them at their house. Somehow they keep track of it all."
With Paisley's nine Country Music Association awards, seven ACMs and a Grammy, the Paisley parents already have a fairly full house.
At Sunday's show (to broadcast on CBS at 7 p.m. central), Paisley is up against Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, George Strait and Keith Urban for the fan-voted award of Entertainer of the Year.
