Miranda Wine

Miranda Lambert and her family are getting into the wine business with their private label Red 55 Winery, named after Miranda's first pickup, a candy-apple-red 1955 Chevy.

On Miranda's website, her parents, Rick and Beverly Lambert write: "A good deal of time went into developing this private wine label, and the reason is simple: We believe in families working hard together and celebrating success when it finally comes. Just like wine, the music industry offers no overnight sensations. Many years of hard work go into the product the public ultimately experiences."

The Lamberts partnered with the family of Lou Viney Vineyards of Winnsboro, Tex., to "bottle a wine worthy to put Miranda's name on."

Wines currently available go by the names of Red 55, Electric Pink (Miranda plays a pink guitar), Belle and Kerosene. In early 2008, look for Gunpowder & Lead Merlot and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Sweet White to be added to the lineup.
