Tonight is the night!


Tonight’s The Night: The 41st Annual CMA Music Awards

Country music is hot and tonight is Country Music night. The Eagles' first new studio album in 28 years, Long Road Out of Eden, takes a short route to No. 1 on The Billboard 200 after Billboard revised a significant chart policy today (Nov. 7), with sales of 710946, Carrie Underwood had the No. 1 album in the country last week with 527101 units sold, and Kenny Chesney is selling out concerts everywhere. ABC is primed and ready to broadcast the 41st Annual CMA Awards at 7 p.m. tonight.

Big & Rich performed on Good Morning America to begin the pump up for the show at tonight, where The Eagles, along with Carrie Underwood Alison Krauss, Kellie Pickler, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride and Reba McEntire. Plus, Jamie Foxx will perform with Rascal Flatts. Brad Paisley and George Strait lead the pack with five nominations apiece.
