Country Hall of Fame

One of the few "Hall of Fames" where steroids... really wouldn't help...

Emmylou Harris, Tom T. Hall, the Statler Brothers and the late Ernest "Pop" Stoneman are the latest additions to the Country Hall of Fame, the Nashville-based Country Music Association announced Tuesday.

Harris is being recognized as a revered song interpreter, CMA rep Tammy Genovese tells the Associated Press. Hall is a renowned storyteller; the Statler Brothers, America's poets; and Stoneman, a patriarch of the genre, she said.

A formal ceremony will take place later this year.
