Trace Loses the Shirt!

Trace Adkins has had fun singing about the female physique in "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" and "Hot Mama." Now he's set to show off his own body on this week's edition of "The Celebrity Apprentice."

The assignment for the competing teams on this week's edition of the Donald Trump-produced show has them designing a four-page advertising section for Dial Yogurt Body Wash that will run in the April issue of Redbook magazine. One team goes with a natural theme; the other team goes with a sexy ad. While we don't know which team Trace was on yet, he does bare his chest on the show.

Trace is actually becoming a significant player on "Apprentice." He's chipped in the slogans for his team's work on two occasions, he provided the voiceover for a pet adoption commercial, and in last week's episode, he earned high marks for his sales pitch while hawking a sweeper on QVC. Marilu Henner, the project manager for the opposing team in that episode, got fired by Trump after they lost.

"I hated to see Marilu Henner go," Trace says. "I really did. I liked her a lot, she's a sweet lady, she's a great player."
