Kenny's Keg Tour --- BACK IN THE CLOSET????

For the past five years, Kenny Chesney has prefaced his summer concert tours with his Keg In The Closet run of bar shows at southeastern college towns. But this year, the Keg may have to go back in the closet.

Kenny had plans to do a show at the Jupiter Bar & Grille in Tuscaloosa, Ala. As is custom, the news would not be released to the public until hours before the show. Since Kenny was able to sell out Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts in 15 minutes, he didn't want to give too much advance notice on an appearance in a tiny club.

But someone hacked into the Jupiter Bar's website and found information about this year's plans, then posted it in a comments section on Kenny's site. And Kenny says that might be the beginning of the end.

"The spirit of this has always been for me and the guys to get out, get a little sloppy, play a bunch of songs we love and have a good time," Kenny explains. "It's supposed to be loose, easy and in the moment. But if this kind of craziness is already happening, it means we may have hit the point where we can't do it anymore. I'd hate that, but these clubs can't handle that kind of crowding, and I don't wanna put them through it. It's a shame. It's a lot of fun for everybody, and it's always seemed like the people who didn't get in were good sports about it."

If Kenny has made a definitive decision yet, he's remaining close-lipped about it.
