Rascal Flatts play an also-ran in the lyrics of the band's current single, "Winner At A Losing Game," but they come out on top in competition for the Rubik's Revolution. The group has earned exclusive rights to host the Rubik's Revolution Light Speed online game on its fansite.
"Since the Rubik's Revolution came out last summer, we have watched it become a pop-culture phenomenon," bass player Jay DeMarcus says. "We're excited that we can share the Light Speed online game with our fans on our website and give them the chance to win a Rubik's Revolution cube of their own."
The Revolution is an electronic successor to the original Rubik's Cube.
"Rubik's Revolution is all about speed, especially the Light Speed game on the blue side," guitarist Joe Don Rooney notes. "There are times when I just can't put it down. And the online Light Speed game is just as addicting."
In conjunction with the new addition to their site, the band will present a sweepstakes through April 30, with 100 winners taking home a Rubik's Revolution cube and a grand-prize winner getting a pair of concert tickets and passes to meet Rascal Flatts.
