Kenny Chesney's Debut Week Just Short Of 387,000 Copies

Beat that, Xerox.

Kenny Chesney's latest CD, Just Who I Am: Poets & Priates first week SoundScan sales was 386,992, making this the top-selling COUNTRY CD last week.

These exceptional numbers paled in comparison to Pop's Kanye West at just under a million units scanned and Hip Hop's 50-Cent who scanned over 700,000 units.

As the season for COUNTRY Releases opens, the SoundScan Reports will be humming with the star-studded Reba Duets which hit the stores yesterday. Next Tuesday (9/25), the much-anticipated Rascal Flatts "Still Feels Good" releases following a summer of intense touring and two weeks of heavy appearances for Gary, Jay and Joe Don.
