Big... Rich... And COLD

Big & Rich got a cold reception in Canada last week — not from fans, but from the winter weather north of the border. The duo had four trucks travelling in a convoy from Prince George to Vancouver on Thursday when one of the semis went out of control on a patch of black ice. The truck fishtailed a bit, then ended up on its side in the ditch.

No one was hurt, and none of the stage and lighting equipment was damaged. Big & Rich still got to the venue and held their scheduled concert the next night.

The accident is being blamed on the weather — and most certainly not on the two singers. As their publicist told The Tennessean, "Neither Big Kenny nor John Rich were driving the truck."

The tour of the Great White North continues for the next week. Tonight, Big & Rich, Terri Clark and Cowboy Troy are at Rexall Place in Edmonton.
