Everyone COUNTS!

One... two... three... four... five... twelve... seven million... uh...

Reba McEntire has never been one to talk politics publicly, but that doesn't mean she has no interest in the issues. In fact, Reba has joined a long list of female celebrities — including Queen Latifah, Halle Berry, Jodie Foster, Mary Hart and Patti LaBelle — taking part in the Lifetime Networks' Every Woman Counts campaign.

The effort doesn't pick sides among the candidates, but it does feature a series of PSAs and short spots in which the stars encourage women to think about issues that are important to them and to act upon their beliefs by voting or becoming politically active.

"This is an unprecedented election in so many ways," Meredith Wagner, Lifetime Public Affairs Vice President, said. "In fact, our recent poll showed that more than 60 percent of women believe that voting in this election is more important than ever before. We hope these PSAs will get more women engaged in the political process by voting, speaking up and running for public office."

Mary J. Blige, Fran Drescher, Daisy Fuentes, Ricki Lake, Alyssa Milano and Molly Shannon are just a few of the many other celebrities who've joined the campaign, which begins this month and runs through the November election.
