FAITH HILL IN REHAB!

Yeah, well, it's not what you're thinking.

Faith Hill is in rehab, but not the kind that makes the paparazzi flip. Faith had knee surgery in Nashville January 7 to correct an old softball injury that had been aggravated by normal use through the years.

As her song suggests, "A Mississippi girl don't change her ways," and Faith isn't letting the injury keep her from her obligations.

"Who has time to slow down?" she asks rhetorically. "Doctors had told me to stay off my feet for a bit, and now I'm following their rehab program. I intend to be back better and stronger."

She's still preparing to take part next month in a Los Angeles tribute to Aretha Franklin, who's been named the MusiCares Person of the Year. And Faith continues work on a Christmas album that she expects to release by the end of this year. If she makes her deadlines, it'll mark the second straight year she's had new holiday material in circulation. She had a duet with Josh Groban on "The First Noel" that appeared on his quadruple-platinum album Noel.
