Troy Gentry Gets 'Shaved' For T.J. Martell Foundation

Music fans and industry insiders alike have noticed the beard Troy Gentry of the duo Montgomery Gentryhas been sporting during recent appearances. Last night, the beard disappeared.

“I enjoyed the beard through the winter, especially here in the snow, but I was willing to part with it for the right price to help the T.J. Martell Foundation.” said Troy Gentry. “We raised $20,000 for a very worthwhile cause.”


The T.J. Martell Foundation supports innovative research for leukemia, cancer and AIDS. In Nashville, the Foundation supports cancer research at the Frances Williams Preston Labs at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center.
